How do you take your work to the next level? What if you could learn from the best painters of all time?
This workshop is the fruit of 25+ years of study of the universal principles of visual communication used by every great painter in every time period in every style. It will teach you not only what some of the key principles are, but how to continue learning on your own long after the workshop ends.
We’ll look extensively at the masters and apply their wisdom to our own work. Come prepared to laugh, learn, and leave encouraged and inspired.
Our Guides will be Degas and Deibenkorn, Picasso and Pissaro, Rembrandt and Rothko, Cassatt and Chagall, along with many others. Come ready to push paint first thing in the morning.
* Key Principles from master works
* Plenty of Time to work at your easel
* One-on-one attention – instruction tailored to the individual
* a relaxed, fun atmosphere that encourages experimentation and growth.
* all levels welcome.

Instruction is tailored to the needs and goals of the individual. This workshop includes both plein air and studio painting, demonstrations and one-on-one instruction.

"The goal is not to get you to paint like I do, but to paint like yourself with more beauty and power of expression in your work. It’s not about technique or style, but a mindset."
